Since the advent of the internet we have more access, to more free information, than ever before. In fact, we frequently suffer, more today, from information overload, than at any other moment in history. Take a second to google ‘weight loss,’ or ‘fitness.’ Did you get about 71 million and 245 million returns for each?
How are you really going to discern what the best, most applicable information to you is out of all that data? This may be where our confusion about those subjects actually lies. More Information often just clouds our decision making, rather than help us make informed decisions.
This is where knowledge comes in. Knowledge is defined as;
‘Facts, information, and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject’
The key distinguisher? Experience and Education, and rarely are these things as free as the internet.
If you want to change your life, get more fit, lose weight, put on some muscle for the ladies, then you need to acquire knowledge about those subjects right now. The best way to do that, is to get experience, or get an education, or a combination of both. If you don’t have time for either, hire a skilled coach that has both.
